The 2024 Halliday Year in Review

Tasting for the 2025 Halliday Wine Companion, which ran from May 2023 to March 2024, saw the Halliday Tasting Team sniff, swirl and scribble notes on over 7500 wines from every region of Australia, from Margaret River to Canberra.

The 2024 Halliday Year in Review includes figures around the styles and varieties tasted for the 2025 Companion, the country's top-performing regions (including the Yarra Valley's stellar year), and why chenin blanc needs to be on your radar. 

Our expert panel of tasters discuss value for money, the rise in quality, and the split between red and white varieties this season.
