Imperial Measures Distillery Ounce Gin Signature

If there were to be a gin and tonic for lazy summer mornings, warm pancakes and no plans for the day, I'd hope it would be made with this gin. Deceptively effortless, it encapsulates a host of citrus. But, rather than being a frank and brash citrus bomb, careful curation of how the fruits are used and other botanicals paired has built a refined and radiant gin. The citrus oils, in particular, feel freshly peeled, creating a texture more akin to fresh cream than a strong oiliness. The palate bursts with this awakening of citrus before delving into more intricate spiced notes. Some of the other botanicals used pair with the citrus to bolster it, while others entangle your senses to bring a mature note to the gin and give the drinker more factors to uncover and enjoy. Soft juniper oil holds the palate together and, while not exhibited strongly, does hold its distinctive note throughout.
