Callipari Wine

Michael Callipari is among the third generation of the Callipari family, the first members of which left Calabria, Sicily, in 1951. Various members of the family have developed vineyards over the years, with over 26ha of vines on two properties. Mother Giuseppa Callipari makes food products (from produce grown on the family farm) that are sold through the cellar door (which operates from the winery warehouse in Mildura) and at tourism outlets and shops in the district. Ned Kelly Red, incidentally, is described as a ‘premium red wine spritzer with a dash of orange and lemon'. Exports to NZ. -JAMES HALLIDAY
