Our Review
This is the venture of Luciano (Luc) Signore, whose family wine roots are in the Campania region of Italy. Rosedale Wines specialises in producing wines from the western Barossa Valley, with emphasis on Shiraz and Shiraz blends. The vineyard sites begin just to the northwest of Lyndoch and stretch along the western edges of the Barossa Valley to Greenock. The soils vary significantly, but the Rosedale area soils are generally shallow, with broken shale through red-brown earths and terra rossa. The vines typically produce low yields of small berries with thick skins. -JAMES HALLIDAY
