Our Review
A premium Tasmanian brand of WA-based Fogarty Wine Group, which purchased the 3ha Lowestoft vineyard and historic house at Berriedale in '19. Substantial plantings on 2 properties at Forcett and Richmond in the Coal River Valley bring the group’s holdings to some 200ha, making it Tasmania’s 2nd-largest vineyard owner. Winemaking is conducted at Tasmanian Vintners, the state’s biggest contract facility, in which the group purchased a 50% share. Lowestoft joins Fogarty’s lauded suite of boutique wineries across Western Australia, Lake’s Folly in the Hunter Valley and Dalwhinnie in the Pyrenees. -TYSON STELZER
