Mapleton

Mapleton Wines is in the Tea Tree subregion in the north of the Coal River Valley. The original property of the same name was purchased by Paul Laing in ’04. Today, Paul is joined by his parents, Denis and Kathryn. Together they’ve acquired 2 adjoining properties, Woodlands and Lynwood, both already planted. After a period of rejuvenating the neglected vines, Mapleton now has around 12ha of vines including pinot noir, chardonnay and riesling. The wines capture the nuances of the subregion with clarity and a sense of effortless drinkability. -HALLIDAY TEAM
