Marty Singh says that after 20 years of selling, tasting, drinking and making wine the temptation to start his own brand was just too strong, although the small production means that it is still very much a part-time job. His practical skills were learned over a decade of working alongside winemakers such as David Bicknell and Adrian Rodda. Precipice focuses on single vineyard wines (Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Syrah) from the Yarra Valley, exploring the geographical diversities of the region, with steadily rising production.
