Our Review
Montague Estate is located in Wilyabrup on what was previously the old Heydon Estate Vineyard, and prior to that, Arlewood. The vineyard is planted to a little over 8ha of chardonnay, 4ha of mataro, 3.2ha of grenache, 2.6ha of shiraz, 1.8ha of cabernet sauvignon and smaller amounts of cabernet franc, petit verdot, merlot, malbec, viognier, albariño and semillon. Tim Quinlan has been looking after the vines there since Heydon Estate days. -ERIN LARKIN
