Celebrate the new year with some of the best Australian sparkling wines.

As you prepare to ring in the new year and celebrate 2025, we want to help make sure your wine fridge is stocked with some of the best Australian sparkling wines.

Whether your preference is sparkling white, red or rosé, these 25 bottles of bubbles range from $25 to $277 and have been rated 'highly recommended', 'outstanding' or 'exceptional' by the Halliday Tasting Team

Kicking off the celebration is an example from the master of sparkling, Ed Carr. House of Arras released its 2024 collection in October including wines from the 2016 vintage, along with the 2009 EJ Carr Late Disgorged. The 2009 is the 12th release of the limited edition sparkling, and Dave Brookes has awarded it 98 points. It also doubles as a very special gift, coming in at $277.

Georgia Dale's XI.XI Blanc de Blancs from the King Valley is a mid-price option at $60. Katrina Butler has scored it 95 points and writes: "This is Georgia Dale’s place of worship; we should all be so lucky to pull up a pew."

Still in the King Valley, prosecco fans, you'll love Risky Business' NV Prosecco. It's a steal at $25 and 95 points.

Sparkling shiraz drinkers, we'd never forget you – especially at this time of year – we've included two outstanding options from Kalleske and Poonawatta, both come from the Barossa. And for those who prefer to drink pink, there are six options from House of Arras, Terre à Terre, Printhie Wines, Josef Chromy, Meander Valley and Westella.

Cheers to 2025!
