The Halliday Tasting Team reviewed thousands of wines in 2025. Across the year we celebrated these wines through weekly tasting note drops, we released 100 new tasting notes in each issue of Halliday magazine, we announced the best wines of the year at the annual Halliday Wine Companion Awards and revealed the Thistledown Wines This Charming Man Single Vineyard Clarendon Grenache 2024 as the 2026 Wine of the Year.

In October we unveiled the Top 100 Wines, including the second year of the taster's pick – the Tasting Team's 10 highlight wines from the previous tasting cycle.

Throughout the year, you've been searching for top drops – both new and older releases.
