Ambra Cappuccino

This is a cream liqueur flavoured with coffee and chocolate. Delicate on the nose, without the aggressive notes of artificial flavouring; it’s nice to see they’ve kept this subtle, resisting the urge to over-whip the cream, as it were. The presence of real dairy is obvious, along with gentle notes of milk chocolate. Velvety and easy drinking on the palate, there’s plenty of sugar, but it’s not overdone, and the coffee and chocolate notes are restrained but natural. I wouldn’t mind a little more intensity from both of those key flavours to help offer some balancing bitterness and complexity, but this is a super easy-drinking sweet cream liqueur that’s sure to please fans of the style.
