Brunswick Aces Spades Gin

This has an impressively bold profile on the nose, a trait shared by all of Brunswick Aces products. The aroma hits with a strong lemon icy pole scent, synonymous with high levels of lemon myrtle. The bright, sweeter character also indicates fresher leaves, with higher oil content. Before the lemon myrtle is known, wafts of menthol come through, offering a somewhat softened entry to the nose. The palate continues along the citrus profile, focusing strongly on lemon as the dominant flavour with subtle nods to some bitter botanicals and a fresh green element. The taut, slender palate seemingly gives way and drops off quickly. After a beat, the pepperberry comes out of the undertow and helps to revive the gin.
