Our Review
Coolangatta Estate is part of a 150ha resort. Some of the oldest buildings were convict-built in 1822. The standard of viticulture is exceptionally high and the contract winemaking is wholly professional. Coolangatta has a habit of bobbing up with medals at Sydney and Canberra wine shows, including gold medals for its mature semillons. In its own backyard, Coolangatta won the trophy for Best Wine of Show at the South Coast Wine Show for 19 out of the show’s 20 years. -JAMES HALLIDAY
