Mount Edward

New Zealand | Central Otago | Iwi of Kai/Ngāi Tahu

Our Review

There is an eclectic energy present in the Mount Edward team (and their wines) that unites wine drinkers through sheer diversity, both in personality and variety. A steadfastness to their minimal intervention roots has enabled the team to remain true to their own unapologetic approach to winemaking, without compromising quality. Pinot noir is made in single-site and estate expressions from a myriad of vineyards across Central Otago. There too, pinot gris, gruner veltliner, gamay, chenin blanc, chardonnay and riesling. A fascinating producer to keep tabs on. -KATRINA BUTLER
