In July 2014, James Gosper founded Gossie & Co, which provides advice on all aspects of production and wine marketing in Australia and globally. James' tertiary education at Charles Sturt University was followed by 10 years (1996-06) as Chief Winemaker and Operations Director at Domaine Chandon Australia. He then moved to Moet Hennessy USA as Brand Director for three years, then joined the Australian Wine & Brandy Corporation as Regional Director for North American (2009-11), returning to Australia for three years as General Manager Marketing, Wine Australia, retiring in June ‘14. This tiny branch of Gossie & Co may be the hair shirt to remind him of the challenges facing small wine producers in Australia. -JAMES HALLIDAY
