Our Review
A distinct project that focuses solely on wines produced from chardonnay grapes from selected sites within parishes of the Adelaide Hills. The wines are made through a partnership between winemaker Henry Borchardt and wine enthusiast James McLeay. Underpinning the wines is a mesh of traditional and minimal intervention wine-making approaches, including wild yeast fermentation, barrel ferments and lees stirring, with the wines bottles unfiltered and unfined. This is an aspirational wine label pointing itself in the direction of the fine wine paradigm from inception. -MIKE BENNIE
