Continuing a 5-generation family winemaking tradition, Hamish and Kate Laurie created their first wine from the 30yo Laurie family-owned vineyard on Deviation Road in '02. In ’04, Hamish and Kate purchased their property at Longwood, which is the current home to 4ha of shiraz and pinot noir, the winery and tasting room. Hamish and Kate consistently produce wines that represent the cool-climate terroir of the Adelaide Hills. -JAMES HALLIDAY

Loftia Cottage is surrounded by heritage protected bushland, overlooking our home block vineyard and conveniently located a short stroll down the hill to our tasting room. As soon as you turn into the private driveway you will feel instantly relaxed, this will continue throughout your stay where your only visitors will be the local wildlife.
Facilities
The two bedroom 1940's workers cottage has been lovingly restored. While the standout features are undoubtedly the views and the stunning sunsets, the cottage has also been fitted out with premium furnishings to ensure absolute comfort throughout your stay.
