Sam Scott’s great-grandfather worked for Max Schubert and passed his knowledge down to Sam’s grandfather. Sam enrolled in business at university, continuing the casual retailing with Booze Brothers – which he’d started while at school – picking up the trail with Baily & Baily. Next came wine wholesale experience with David Ridge, selling iconic Australian and Italian wines to the trade. This led to a job with Michael Fragos at Tatachilla in ‘00 and since then he has worked across Australia and in California. -JAMES HALLIDAY
