Our Review
In ’18, 12 years after emigrating from Scotland with his wife, Linzi, Grant Carr left his job in IT and bought a small vineyard in Leasingham, Clare Valley. Over the years, Grant and Linzi have revitalised the site, now known locally as Blocks Road, and added malbec, shiraz, saperavi and cabernet to the existing riesling plantings. From these sustainably and regeneratively farmed vines, the Carrs produce a small range of wines under their Anthologist label, which they launched in ’23 after a particularly fruitful vintage. -JAMES HALLIDAY
