Our Review
Heggies was the 2nd of the high-elevation (570m) vineyards established by the Hill-Smith family, following the revival of Pewsey Vale vineyard in 1961. Plantings on the 120ha former grazing property began in '73; the principal varieties are riesling and chardonnay. -JAMES HALLIDAY
