Our Review
Sue Trott is devoted to her Five Geese wines, which come from vines planted in '27 and ’65 (shiraz, cabernet sauvignon, grenache and mataro), nero d’Avola a more recent arrival. She sold the grapes for many years, but in ’99 decided to create her own label and make a strictly limited amount of wine from the pick of the vineyards, which are run on organic principles. -JAMES HALLIDAY
