Kay Brothers

South Australia | McLaren Vale

Our Review

Kay Brothers is a traditional family winery with a rich history dating back to 1890. One of 5 wineries in the Vale with vines planted in the 1880s (the others being Paxton, Ox Hardy, Richard Hamilton and d’Arenberg), the 20ha estate includes the original 1.5ha of Block 6 shiraz vines planted in 1892. The full-flavoured red and fortified wines can be particularly good. Both vines and wines are going from strength to strength here. -HALLIDAY TEAM
