Maison Blue

A new producer responsible for well-made wines of a traditional bent: forward fruit, tempered oak and bright acidity. Maison Eros is the top tier; an entry-level range is sourced from various regions outside the Vale. There is little to surprise the domestic drinker, but the weighty bottles and cork closures suggest that the wines are primarily destined for export. -NED GOODWIN MW
