Our Review
Owner Nigel Wood traces his interest in wine back to 1971, and the time he spent in Bordeaux that year. The germ took some time to hatch, but in 1996 he selected an outstanding 15ha property in the southern Mount Lofty Ranges, looking out over the Finniss River, Lake Alexandrina and the coast of Goolwa. The focus is on cabernet sauvignon and shiraz, with a skilled contract winemaking team. -JAMES HALLIDAY
