Our Review
House of Arras is considered the benchmark at the pointy end of our country’s outstanding sparkling wine producers. Pristine fruit from some of Tasmania’s top vineyard sites and having Australia’s most awarded sparkling winemaker, Ed Carr, at the helm is a combination that is hard to beat. The composition, complexity and structure of the estate sparkling wines and their track record on the wine show circuit are a testament to Ed’s exceptional skill as a sparkling winemaker and the commitment of House of Arras to produce the finest sparkling wines in the land. In late ’23, Accolade sold the House of Arras brand and vineyards to Handpicked Wines, although it continues to produce Arras wines under contract for the new owners. -DAVE BROOKES
