Our Review
After a 10-year stint at Petaluma (see separate entry), Peter Dredge moved to Tasmania in '10, spending 5 years at Bay of Fires as chief winemaker. Dr Edge was subsequently established in '15 with a keen focus on cool-climate Tasmanian still and sparkling chardonnay and pinot noir. The wines quickly accrued a cult following, in part due to the eccentricities of the maker and eye-catching label design, but more so due to the resounding quality across the range. -KATRINA BUTLER
