Lincoln Riley has had a successful career as a sommelier and winemaker, starting in '08 with Foster e Rocco in the winemaking sphere. In the same year he received the Judy Hirst Award for Best Wine List and Australian Sommelier of the Year, in '09 winning The Age Good Food Guide accolade as Sommelier of the Year. He finished as head sommelier of Stokehouse in '14, moving back to Central Victoria and, with partner Marsha Busse, purchased their Harcourt property in the same year. They have planted equal quantities of shiraz and nebbiolo on close spacing, and currently run their cellar door from their eatery Harvest Food and Wine in View St, Bendigo. -JAMES HALLIDAY
