Our Review
Graziers Sarah and Tom Guthrie began their diversification into wine in '89, but their core business continues to be fat lamb and wool production. They have acquired the Garden Gully winery at Great Western, giving them a cellar door and a vineyard with 140+yo shiraz and 100+yo riesling. Grampians Estate followed its success of being Champion Small Winery of Show at the Australian Small Winemakers Show for the 2nd year running in ’18 by winning the Premier’s Trophy for Champion Wine of Victoria in ’19. These successes led to a major expansion of the cellar door, with a new cafe and outdoor area. -JAMES HALLIDAY
