Our Review
After making wine on the Mornington Peninsula for other people for 20 years, Michael Kyberd finally got around to starting a brand, with his wife, Nicolette, and friends Kim and David Wilson as partners. Starting with a combination of leased vineyard and purchased grapes, and focusing on pinot noir and chardonnay, the plan is to plant a vineyard on their property in Red Hill. The winemaking style is gentle with minimal extraction and intervention; purity is the desired outcome. Hopefully such words as folly and regret will disappear from their conversation in less than a decade. -JAMES HALLIDAY
