Fikkers Wine

Proprietor/winemaker Anthony Fikkers started his winemaking career in the Hunter Valley before moving to settle permanently in the Yarra Valley. His modus operandi is to seek out small parcels of wine in similar fashion to Mac Forbes, with whom he worked as assistant winemaker. He certainly believes that variety is the spice of life, making the Two Bricks range, the larger-volume wines either unoaked or lightly oaked and a range of Single Vineyard varietals, the vineyard sources changing from year to year reflecting availability. -JAMES HALLIDAY
