Our Review
Voyager Estate is located on Stevens Road in the Boodjidup Valley, which is emerging as hallowed ground (Leeuwin, the western neighbour, Xanadu’s Stevens Road vineyard and the vineyards of Voyager Estate complete the trinity of prestige in this neck of the woods). The estate was established in '78 by viticulturist Peter Gherardi, and later purchased and expanded by Michael Wright in ’91. Michael’s daughter, Alexandra Burt, has been at the helm since ’05. As of ’23, the vineyard and winery are certified organic and there is extensive clonal and varietal experimentation in the estate vineyards. The grounds are well known for their immaculate year-round grooming, as is the lavish, high-ceiling tasting room, home to an award-winning restaurant. -ERIN LARKIN

Amidst a sanctuary of lush gardens and rolling lawns, our Wine Room is housed in a beautiful, white–washed Cape Dutch Manor House, all ringed by Estate vineyards and the majestic Marris beyond. It is the gateway to our Estate – a place to discover our story and explore our wines. Curate your own tasting with expert assistance from our friendly Wine Guides. Top off your journey with a delicious board of cheese, charcuterie and condiments, created by our chefs to accompany the wines. On warmer days, our Wine Terrace is a great place to enjoy wine by the glass outside or take advantage of our picnic rugs and relax on the lawn. Our Wine Room is open from 10am to 5pm, Monday to Sunday (closed Christmas Day, Boxing Day and Good Friday). Maximum group size six guests. Tasting fees apply.
