Our Review

Mandoon Estate, headed by Allan Erceg, made a considerable impression with its wines in a very short time. In '08, the family purchased a site in Caversham in the Swan Valley, with vines planted as early as 1895. Construction of the winery was completed in time for the first vintage in ’10. They also purchased a further 20ha in Margaret River. Winemaker Ryan Sudano has metaphorically laid waste to Australian wine shows with the quality of the wines he has made from the Swan Valley, Frankland River and Margaret River. -JAMES HALLIDAY
